Hotel Castillo De Monda

I was thoroughly impressed by the warm and cute nature of the staff, who ensured that every detail was taken care of. The exquisite outdoor space provided a perfect setting to enjoy amazing mountain views while relishing the delicious cuisine, especially the elegant dinner options offered.

Limited hot water in the shower.

It is a beautiful medieval hotel in a secluded little mountain town with lovely views and brilliant for a romantic or relaxing weekend away. The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and extremely good value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go again for another mini break.

I would suggest that when the hotel has a function booked in their main dinning area but not all guests are attending that they still provide restaurant facilities and cater for their other guests in the bar/cafeteria area where lunch is also served or perhaps offer room service.

It has stunning and amazing location for celebrating birthday.

Unbeatable views from our huge balcony! The space of the Superior Double Room was just fantastic, really was like we could chill properly. The staff were super friendly, got us sorted with everything, even helped us with some lekker local tips. Breakfast was a real highlight, proper feast!

The evening got a bit chilly, could use some extra heating in the room.

I liked the setting of the room which was different to all other hotels where I have stayed. Castillo de Monda is ideal for a romantic getaway.

The location was amazing for exploring this very nice area, just off the Restuarant, the restaurant and the bar and the coast-Marbella, Puerto Banus and the beach. I booked a room with a very comfy bed, an individual safe, air conditioning and a mini bar. The staff was efficient - I would return here...

Bring your own snacks since there is limited in-room amenities and water can be expensive at the bar. The outdoor bar area is particularly nice for relaxation.

The noise from the bar below was disruptive during the night!!! More variety in the bar menu would improve the experience since options felt limited!!!

What a lovely place! The views from the restaurant are proper stunning, giving you that feast for the eyes while munching away. Only downer was the heating in our room. took a bit to warm up. we're chuffed with our stay!

Great food in a lovely room, but access roads are really tricky.

This hotel is such a hidden gem w/ amazing views and super nice staff. The pool is perfect for chillin after a hot day, and i loved the cozy vibes of the restaurant. The really good service transformed our meal into a nice celebration, with beautifully presented dishes crafted to cater to all diets, ensuring everyone felt included and satisfied.

In an idyllic setting with amazing views, the character of this castle hotel shines through with its inviting atmosphere and spacious turret rooms. Friendly staff added to the charm, particularly with the highlighted Koshihikari rice dishes. Prompt service was occasionally lacking. Orders were delayed, and miscommunication led to mix-ups during meals .

The ambiance of the castle is enchanting, with beautiful Moorish architecture adding to the charm. The restaurant's really good cuisine was a highlight, especially the varied breakfast options that were always fresh and delicious. Eduardo at reception. We particularly enjoyed the lovely mountain view from our superior room terrace.

The pool area is somewhat small. Additional sun-beds would improve comfort .
